No games work

I just installed GTR 2 for (dvd) and it won't start in regular mode, admin
mode, xp sp2 mode.

See attached.

I even did a complete o/s reload of Vista Ultimate fresh instead of upgrade
from MCE 2005 and the problem still persists.

I tried in XP SP2 compatibility mode, still gives the same error.

This even happened with Need for Speed Carbon demo too. Strange.
 
Hmm,

I'm getting this error when I try and click on it.

HTTP 500
This error (HTTP 500 Internal Server Error) means that the website you are
visiting had a server problem which prevented the webpage from displaying.

not very helpful when you ge to see it lol. I have to ask, what specs are
you running on ? And also, are you using the windows original graphics
drivers or did you download some from the manufacturer website?

I'm using the original that vista installed. I did not manually install any
drivers.
 
I had the same problem with N4S Carbon,

I have GF 6600 GTX and use nvidia drivers, did not solve the problem,
waiting for final release of the drivers.

Same here with me for BF1942, I have the NVIDIA drivers but I think they
need to get final ones.
