No footer on printed pages

Hi !

Using IE6-Sp1, all patches installed, under Win98.

When printing a page, the page footer is NOT printed. Print previewing the
same page correctly shows the page footer.

I experienced a little, changing the margins, the paper size, the
orientation, at no avail.

I even tried to print using an evelope size on letter paper to make sure it
is not related to the non-printable area, still no luck..

The printer is a HP Laserjet 6L, using the MS HP6L driver (PCL5EMS3.DRV
4.10.1998, GPC 3.02)

The problem shows only with the footer; the header prints correctly.

Any idea ?
TIA

Try a smaller font. Any luck?

Remember that you may not have any more options.
You may however move some of the settings from the Footer to the header so
that you will capture the information you are looking for.

Thanks, but AFAIK, we don't have any control over the header/footer font
size.. Am I correct ?

Given that, I can't explain why the header/footer font looks like "arial 12
pt" on one computer while it looks like "times roman 10 pt" on another..

Both computers have IE6-Sp1 with all the same patches applied. Printing is
done to the *same* printer (it's networked) and the printer's driver
reported on the test page as well as the properties details on both
computers are exactly the same..

Returning to investigation mode..
