no fonts to select in PowerPoint

There are no fonts being displayed in the pull down menu. There is nothing
but white space when I select the down arrow. This is only happening in
PowerPoint. All of the other Office applications are functionng normally.

Any suggestions as to what might be the problem?

Make sure that you have a printer driver installed and set as the default
printer.
