My website is working fine but when I try to open it with FrontPage
the contecys side of the page has the message "There are no files
in this folder". The backup website are doing the same (including
one on my local disk). Did the October security patches cause this?

After you have logged in, in the next dialog, you must click Open, are you doing this?

If you feel your current issue is a results of installing
a Service Pack or security update, please contact
Microsoft Product Support Services:
http://support.microsoft.com
If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a
security update, then there is usually no charge for the call.

I'm opening FrontPage -> File (dropdown) -> Open Web (selecting website top
folder) -> Open.

Are you being prompted to login if this is the live/remote server? If not then you need to contact
your web host.

The server is local in my NT Domain. I have the drives permanetly mapped to
my PC. But it doesn't even work on my hard drive. I can access all the files
with my computer and IE, but not with FrontPage.

Are you running IIS / FP extensions under NT? If so then you need to be connecting via an
http://ipaddress or http://machinename , etc. not via a mapped path.

I'm running IIS under Win2K3. If I connect FrontPage using http://machinename
I either get the "no files" message or a "not accessable" message (depending
on how I try to connect). However, I can connect to the website with IE w/o
a problem.

Also, I cant connect to local copies of the website either. IIS is not
involved
with them. Everything used to work.

In the past, we mostly modified individual (or groups) of pages on the
development
copy and copied them over to the website. Maybe something broke when I
tried to copy my website w/o publishing it. Or maybe it was recent security
patches to Win2K3 of XP.

My other developer is having the same trouble.
