no F-LOCK key

There is no toggle (key) for F-LOCK for this keyboard. I don't see any
fuction key to turn on or off the F-LOCK.

How is one to use this keyboard with those fuctions locked? Again, F1 does
not work for entering into the BIOS, and F5 OR F8 for going into Safemode.

Is this Microsoft keyboard worthless?, tell me

I have no idea of the value of the keyboard. I don't use anything like
that. Try a regular ps/2 keyboard to install Windows and go from there.

It would help if you told us the NAME of the keyboard!

If it's an MS keyboard, and the F1...F12 legends are printed on the FRONT
FACE of the key instead of the TOP of the key (TOP has things like
New/Open/Spell/TaskPane/etc), then there IS an F-LOCK somewhere, look more
carefully. It's usually in the upper left or right corner.

And yes, they are a pain in the ass, you have to remember to hit the damn
F-LOCK to get the normal functions, and doing so and getting into the bios
is a real finger race!

ah, it's a USB only keyboard. "Never Mind", Bruce's answer is the key.
[enable "USB Legacy", or "USB Keyboard Support: BIOS"].

It'd be nice if they WARNED users about that on the box, wouldn't it!
