I am administering a Windows 2000 Adv. Server cluster,
where one of the nodes refuses to display events properly
in the event logs.
I have re-applied Default settings to the logs and
refreshed, which only causes the Application and Security
logs to display their events, but if I close the log they
are gone again next time I open them. The System log
never displays anything whatsoever.
All the logs are set to 8192 KB, overwrite events as
needed.
Does anyone have any experience with this? I don't know
what to do except call a MS cluster specialist, which I
hope won't be necessary.
