No Email

I am on Windows XP Home Edition. When I have the MSN Home Page up Click on the Email icon I do not get my email page but a page with a bunch of links to commercial sites. I have a Hotmail account. On the MSN home page the email icon indicates that I have 2 messages. HELP!!
 
Just type www.hotmail.com on your browser and it will take you to the log in page, and to your inbox after you log in.
Another option is to install Messenger 6 and then it will open a window when you get mail. Click that and it takes you automatically to your inbox.
