I installed vs.net 2005 and tried edit and continue on cf 2.0 based
projects. VS.Net popped up a message saying that this is not supported.
Wonder why?!

I don't have 2.0 in front of me but I'm not totally surprised that's not
supported. Set Next Statement wasn't in the earlier versions. Probably not
the easiest thing in the world to implement on the CF.

Sai,

Edit and continue isn't even supported for C# on the desktop. I agree with
Bill as to the likely reason it isn't implemented in the CF, which tries to
remove anything that isn't strictly necessary as a general rule.

There's a whole host of features that are yet to be implemented in Smart
Device projects, so just keep in mind that it is *only* beta 1 and the we're
still roughly a year away from having the RTM available to us.
