I performed an upgrade from XP prof to Vista Ultimate. Now my DVD (ASUS
DRW-1612BL) does not function anymore. It is available in the BIOS, but not
in Vista. The upper/lowerfilter solution gave no resolution.

Please help!

I don't see any dvd or cdrom drive. There is one unknown device. I'm not sure
whate it is. It notes an unknown device in 'PCI-bus 2, device 0, function 0'.
Could this be the dvd-player?

So who are you today, Arse? Or is it Mr Nice Guy? I don't think so.
Oh, how about sweet little Kiticat? In alt.mothers?
Quote from Kiticat in alt.mothers: "We are doing token gifts this year
so I would like to make him something. My knitting is ultra slow and
not very good! I'm not able to
do really fine work. Hes not a jewelery person He likes building model
cars and planes. He cycles to work.
Any thoughts???
Sarah"
You know, Sarah. Some people DO like to help others....regardless of
"wrong-group" posting.
Perhaps one of those nice guys here could help even YOU with your
obvious "gender crisis"?
Have a fun day, Mister Niceguy, Alessandro, Mortimer, Smokey, Arse,
Kiticat or even Sarah. xxxx
PS. Looks like you TOO are a noobie in this group.
