No DOS video on ASUS P4V533-MX board

Hi all, I can boot into DOS on my ASUS board, but when I run a
program, such as Ranish Partion Manager, the screen goes blank. Any
help is appreciated. Lars

By the way, the Windows 98SE installation CD does not work either. All
I see, is a blinking white cursor on an otherwise black screen.
