ME&YOU

Every couple of hours or so, I lose the ability to access my browser and the
diagnostics say
No DNS servers / DNS failure.
If I reboot, it's fine again.
Can anyone suggest what I can do (in fairly simple terms please!) to rectify
this?

You need to give more details like:

1) How do you connect to the Internet (Dial-up or broadband???)

2) Do you use a router?

Can you give a few more details to help others who may be able to help.
What operating system are you using, how do you connect to the internet what
browser do you use, information like that is needed to be able to help.
Thank you
Joan

Start by posting the log from "ipconfig /all" here, and a description of your
network.

Sorry, I connect via broadband (plusnet) using a netgear router.(3 pcs, two
with cable connections and one wireless laptop). How do I get the response
from ipconfig /all. It just flashes up on the screen then disappears
again - how do I retain it to copy it?
Thanks for the help by the way.
OS is XP, browsers are IE 7 and firefox

I can't post the log cos I can't keep it up to copy it. It flashes on and
off the screen in a matter of seconds. How do I hold it there?

Reread the instructions. Type "cmd" where you typed "ipconfig /all". Then,
type "ipconfig /all" into the window that opens next.
