I installed a MSI MX440-VTD8X video card in a P4S8X-MX.
The system posts and boots without displaying anything on the monitor.
The board has the latest bios revision and I set the bios primary
display to AGP

Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

If the video card logic was bad, the BIOS would beep like crazy.
Since it booted, my guess would be one of the other connectors
on the MX440 has the display signal on it. Other possibilities
include a bad cable, or you just had the video output signals on
the video card fail (kinda unlikely).

If the card has a TV output and you have the adapter for it,
connect it to the baseband video input on your TV set. Maybe
there is an image there waiting for you. Alternately, use the
DVI-I to VGA adapter, and check the other video output.

Thanks, I'll try the other outputs - Alan
