No display on TV after Nvidia driver upgrade

I recently updated my driver to 78.01 and now my TV only produces audio. I'm using a GeForce 4 Ti 4800 SE.

My TV only works when running in safe mode, it clones rather than goes into dualview.

When I fiddle around with the settings, my screen is garbled. Windows troubleshooting doesn't help much.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
roll back to the previous driver from device manager.

theres an age old saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it"
