Does anyone know why I wouldn't be able to load a display
driver on my Windows XP system?? The CD that came with
my my monitor won't even load. When I go to System
Infomation (msinfo32.exe), there is nothing listed
under "Components", "Display".

HELP!!!

When you right click on your desktop go to display properties, settings. What does it list as your monitor? If it lists default monitor, click on advanced, go to monitor, properties, driver. Do you have any choices to change the driver there? If so, try to update driver and specify your disk location with the driver on it. I had the same problem and tried everything including connecting another monitor. Nothing worked. I took my computer in and the techs couldn't get a monitor recognized until I reformatted and reinstalled. Hopefully, the above steps will help you. If not, good luck.
