Don

I have finally reached the end of my string on this one.
I am now also getting MS messages that a serious error
occured, I send a report, and get back a generic message
that some driver caused the problem. But they don't give
any indication of what driver, program, or anything! And
naturally they cannot be contacted. So I went and
deleted the only item I have added to my PC in the past
several weeks, a USB "pen drive" for data transfers. IT
is completely gone, but the error messages continue, and
there has been nothing changed.
My decision today, as a veteran well past the age or
65, to just forget it and continue to use my old laptop
ccomputer and let Sony and Microsoft ignore their
customers and the problems that produce the hundreds, no
thousands, of pages of newsgroup problems they leave to
other users to solve while they spend their profits. As
you can see, I am disturbed by this problem and the lack
of any way to get the people that make the products and
profits to take any responsibility to communicate with
their customers. God Bless America.

Welcome to the world of computing, poor tech support is the norm in this industry, good tech support is a rarity.
