I have a Mini DV and a IX CIU computer with windows xp with movie maker . It came with no instructions and I feel i,m
missing something. It says there is no device for video hookup. Could really use some help.

Does the new PC come with a firewire (IEEE 1394) port... if not, you'll have
to purchase a Firewire PCI card and install it.
