I've upgraded from Outlook 2000, which worked fine, to Outlook 2003, and am
having all sorts of problems.
The latest is when I try to import contacts. I have a contact list showing
on the screen. I click File|Import and work myway through to selecting the
Excel file to import. Then I get a window that says: "Select a destination
folder:" but has no files on the list & won't let me enter anything, and my
button choices are back or cancel. How do I select a destination folder?
The following may or may not be relevant. When I tried to upgrade over
Outlook 2000, I was told to uninstall Outlook 2000 first. So, I uninstalled
all of Office 2000, the installed Office 2003. WHen I tried to start
Outlook, it wouldn't open, saying it couldn't find folder set, which turned
out to be because I kept it in a non-standard place. I had to create a new
set, then import my old one. But finally I did get the calendar, and some
contacts in.
