No Desktop

I am running windows xp professional .when i boot up into
my desktop,there are no icons showing.i have to go
control-alt delete,new task.then select a program.i have
tried to go into safe mode and am not able to do so.in
fact i have tried evry option in the start up menu with
no success.

look for repair toolbars,icons.sounds like you've been
jackedtry getting spyware removale tools,like,,ad
aware,,spybot search and destroy,,hijackthis,,get them
FREE from www.download.com type it in the
search and load one at a time.do the ad aware first and
check for updates when you open it then run it ,same with
the rest.
