No Desktop on Windows 2000 Server

When i log onto my Windows 2000 Server, no desktop appears. I can move the
mouse and the Keyboard also works. If i do CTR ALT DELETE to get the TASKMGR,
nothing actually happens and right clicking on the desktop with the mouse
does nothing at all.
I can start in safe mode (only by actually powering the server off at the
front) and everythings fine.

I am running Exchange 5.5 on this server, which still seems to be working OK.

Any ideas out there?
