I have made a simple table in Access 97 and am trying to
design a form based on this table. So I go to the form
wizard, transfer all the "available fields" to the
selected fields, click next, choose "columnar" (or any of
them) and click next following which the error
message "no
current record" appears. I have to click "OK" and then
another message box comes up - this is blank with just
an "OK" button. On clicking this, the wizard closes and I
go back to the original window. The knowledge base
describes a similar error in Access95 related to not
having full administrative rights. However, it says this
issue was resolved in Access 97. Can anyone please help?
Thank you.

Probably when you built the Fields you don't remove
the "Required"=Yes property from same of them....!
In this whay if you don't fill it you can't save any Record
and Access return Error.....!

Dear Alessandro,
Thank you for your response. I have set all the fields
to "required" = No, but I still have the same problem.
