I find this hard to believe, but with all of the cool
bells and whistles that Windows Movie Maker 2 has, it
seems to be missing any way to cross-fade between the
main clip's audio track and an imported secondary
Audio/Music track.
I would have expected to see some sort of envelope
control so you can adjust volume of either track - or at
least a fader line so that you can adjust the mix between
the two tracks - on a point by point basis.
Instead, the mixer control seems to affect the overall
mix between clip audio and the secondary Audio/Music
track globally (which of course is useless).
I'm hoping I'm just being blind. With so many other
superb features I find it difficult to believe that the
Movie Maker programmers would have made such a glaring
omission.
What gives?
Thanks,
Dan
