Greetings Cris,

You haven't done anything wrong -- in Windows XP,

Messenger 6 to show contacts, it only uses Windows

You can see by reading the messaages that I'm not the
only person having the on-line contacts or buddy list
problem. I have the contacts right now with Windows XP
and Windows Messnger 4.7 at home. At work I have the
contact list with Windows 98 second edition and Instant
Messenger 6.0. I also have a friend who has Windows XP
and downloaded IM version 6.0 and she has the online
contact list. I think you have a major problem with this
new version. Many of us need help with this!

Hi Cris,

As I said, this only applies to Windows XP. Without getting into technical specifics,
Windows Messenger is the primary Messenger client on Windows XP -- MSN Messenger 6 is
separate. On Windows 98 (or other previous version of Windows besides XP), the only
Messenger client is MSN Messenger 6. As such, in previous versions, MSN Messenger 6 will
integrate into Outlook Express, but in Windows XP it will not.
