no connection

I have downloaded media player 10 as an upgrade,I have
comcast cable internet,the media player cannot connect to
the internet,one page is unavailable and the other just
gets stuck on connecting to online store and it never
connects.
 
I have this same problem but haven't been able to get anyone to tell me what
the answer is--did you get a fix?
