I often get a message when launching Internet Explorer 6.0
SP1 that notes my Internet connection is down (with an
option to Work Offline or Try Again). Once I click on Try
Again, the browser is happy. Is there any way to force
Internet Explorer to retry connection without displaying
this message? Note that I am using a Linksys router to
assign NAT addresses to my servers over a DSL connection.

Thanks, David

I think it's because your DSL modem dropped your connection after certain
period of time to save bandwidth. The linksys router will dial on demand,
but you won't get connected after a relativly short period, hence when you
click on Try Again everything will be fine.

You can try to enable "Keep Alive" option in your linksys router.
