No Colour in Windows Movie Maker

When I connect my sony DV camera to the computer with S
video cable, the picture is OK except its Black and White.
Anything I can do to get the colour?
Operating system is Windows XP.

I've had that same problem, but couldn't find an answer. I thought it was
the cable at first, but it did the same thing with a new cable. I'm using
the WinTV TV card from Hauppauge (4 years old). I'm starting to think it's a
defect in the TV card itself. I've been using the basic RCA video input to
capture. Not the best, but it works.
