No color in Microsoft Publisher

I can insert a text box onto my document in Publisher ( Microsoft Office
Professional Edition) and attempt to fill it with a color from the drop down
menu and the color doesn't appear unless in print preview......Please
help....Thanks..

Perhaps ask in a group specific to Publisher?

microsoft.public.publisher might be as good a place as any....
