Friends, I have defined a two column page and selected the Line between
columns option. However, the line does not appear! Any suggestions on how to
get the line to show?

Hi Bob,

The line only appears if there is text in both columns.

Hi Bob and Doug,

I also found that if the columns are too wide for the
print area or the space between columns is too small, or
a combination of both, no line appears.

Also, when I do columns, after a line or two I insert a
column break and the line appears even if there is no
data to "wrap" to column 2. I am using WORD2000 and I do
not know if this is still true for later versions of WORD.
