No CD-ROM after reboot

I have a Pioneer DVD-RW as master and a TDK CD-RW as slave.Randomly after reboot or cold start the TDK will disappear from the system.
I tried all the fixes that were posted in the forums (upper filter,lower filter etc...) and no evil. I tried different BIOS setting and it didn't help.

What else can I do to solve this problem ?

Microsoft should come with a fix for this issue since it's effecting too many people.

I had the same problem with a TDK burner, the only way I
was able to fix it was to use a seperate channel on an
expansion card.
