My harddrive was wiped Ive had to start over.My Windows based media player 10
has all its components, except it wont burn. Now I thought it was self
sufficent as it had its own burner. The only thing I can figure is easy cd
creator 5 basic is not here any longer. But that doesnt make any sense.I have
reapplied all of my application discs and drive disc, searched and to no
avail. So I reasserted my musicmatch jukebox and its giving me error
messages. After it loads the tracks and I press create it ejects the cd.So Im
at a loss,I know just enough to get by on my home pc.I operate windows xp and
have all microsoft and windows updates.PLEASE HELP!Sincerely Ronzo

You need to get all of the Hardware Updates as well. WMM10 may not see your
CD Burner.
Roxio Creative CD Writer will ONLY work on Windows XP if you have older CD
Writers, because Roxio does NOT support this program any more the latest
patch for it was December 04 so any writer made after last year will NOT be
recognised. I still use it for Sound Editor and have upgraded to 7.5 for
everything else.
Keep in mind a Computer is like a car, if you have a 2005 Car (Windows XP)
can you put in a 1998 engine? Nope! have to update the engine to fit in the
newer car or find a older car to put the engine in. Same with Computers, All
of the individual HArdware has to be kept updated to work with Newer Software
and or Operating System revisions.
Good luck
