Hi All,

I am deploying the use of an SUS server. I have the
NoAutoRebootWithLoggedOnUsers set to 1 which allows the users to be
presented with a request for system reboot, if required. This works fine
but the "No" on the "Automatic Updates" dialog is grayed out. This causes
all kinds of confusion with the users. Any thoughts here, I am sure I am
not the first to run into this.

Thanks

Bob

A work around would be to schedule the install when no one
is logged on to the system. Also just for kick on a test
system make the user a member of the local admin group and
see what happens.

Hmmm, most users turn their machine off at night. Bob

Is that actually true? I never turn my home machine off unless I'll be
away for more than 24 hours. At my place of employment, machines are
turned off only for harware maintenance. Turning a machine off and
leaving it off overnight will get you a reprimand from the system support
people because backups and remote installs can't run if the machine isn't
running. My work system has been running continuously without even a
reboot since June 29. I don't remember what happened that day, but I was
just back from a business trip so I have have rebooted just for the heck
of it.
