Hi,

the option "show black final chart" (or however it might
be called in English) works for the whole program and not
just for the document i'm working with. Is there a chance
to let the document setting "Don't show black final chart"
override the program setting?

Thank you for your help,

Miguelito

Unfortunately not, though it really sounds like something that *should* be a
presentation level setting rather than application-level.

The best way to get it changed is to submit a request to MS. You'll find
instructions and a link here. Since this is an English page, it might help
to know that the term for this in English PPT versions is "End with black
slide" in Tools, Options, View. Thanks!

[CRITICAL UPDATE - If you are using Office 2003, you should install this
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello Miguelito,

PowerPoint does not have the capability of making the "end with black
slide" a setting which is stored with the presentation. Instead, it a
setting tied to the user account under which PowerPoint is being run.

If you (or anyone else reading this message) feel strongly this should also
be a presentation setting, don't forget to send your feedback (in YOUR OWN
WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).
