No audio

I can capture the video from my Canon DV but there is no audio. All
connections are ok and other programs, such as MYDVD, capture audio, but not
movie maker. Can anyone help?

Iam having the same problem, and the answers I get from hp is the capture
device is not compatable with movie maker, so it will only capture video, is
this dumb or what? why would you put soft ware on a computer that you can not
use???
Dies any one have a real answer?--
