Hi,
I'm trying to transfer videos from my older Sony VCR to my PC, but I can't
get any audio.
The back of the VCR has two
"line in" and two "line out" ports as well as a single TV connector port.
I'm using a WinTV-PVR 150 person video recorder (card). The card has a TV
connector port, S-video, 3 RCA type ports (red, white, yellow).
I'm using a three prong RCA cable connected to the "line out" port on the
VCR (red unused) and the other end of the cable is plugged into the
corresponding colors in the back of the PC (card). The plugs don't seem to
fit (too small) into my sound card. Should I have an adapter?
I've tried various combinations of wiring as well as choosing "line in" and
"composite" in the audio input source and video input source. Could my audio
device be disabled? All other audio is fine (CD's, games, etc.).
The video is great it's just that there's no sound at all (probably me).
Thanks for any and all help.
