No Audio when playing Quicktime Movies (or any movies at all in IE

Hi all - Please help me - I just cannot hear any audio in IE 6.0.2.
Everything is fine in Firefox but no Sound in IE - Im not sure what to do as
i need to be able to play sound from my website in IE. The clip im trying is
a Quicktime mov, but ive just tried avi's & wmv's & still no sound. Could be
a codec issue though all my sound is fine on everything else. Soz for being
an IE noob & any help/info or advice will be greatly appreciated. Peace S
