No audio sound.

I lost all audio sound in my Windows Movie Maker 2. It was working just
fine and I was nearly completed with a movie but when I went back in to give
it the final touches it played just fine except no audio sound.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue! I am having the same problem.

I solved my problem by installing firewire. It works fine now.

This is the problem I have. I have two complete projects which played fine.
Now when I play them I can't get any sound. The Audio and Audio/Music tracks
both indicate sound is present. I don't know what you mean by 'installing
firewire'. I have firewire installed for capture but don't see what that has
to do with playing a project? Also, I can no longer burn to DVD. I get the
message about verify the original source files are still available (which
they are). Bon't know if the two issues are related?

They may be if the source files are MPG files or possibly if you are using
MP3 audio.
MPG video is usually not compatible with Movie Maker and MP3's occasionally,
but not always, cause problems as well. Both problems you describe are
sometimes symptoms of using MPG video.
