Do you know what kind of video hardware you are using?
Make and model number, etc? Without that we would be
just shooting in the dark.

Are you sure the red and white connectors on your computer
are the capture inputs? What do the instructions for your
hardware/software say?

i am using hauppage win 88x video capture. and using panasonic vcr. dont know
about the model no. and dont know about the version of movie maker but i have
downloaded service pack 2 for xp. and the red and white inputs on comp. r the
inputs. that says L & R and the yellow one says video in. they r next to the
antenna input. i even tried connecting dvd player through s-video connector.
same results. excellent video quality but no audio. i think i have media
center 2003 or 2004 edition if that matters. and i have checked that my
computer's sound card works with other programs.
so if u can help me that would be awesome. once again thanx for ur time and
reply.

akash.
