No audio from analog VCR tape

Trying to capture an analog VCR tape into Movie Maker. Composite Video input
works, but audio not coming through at all. Tried everything (I think) re:
volume controls, line sources, etc.

Have a Haupaugge capture card. Read a similar post here, and the advice was
to "read directions again." I have 6-7 times now. Simply put, the audio is
not coming through. I've tried all the available options for Audio Input
Source and Audio Device. VCR plays the tape perfectly on TV using same
cabling, and PC's audio output and speakers are working fine, too. Thinking
that the card may be bad...
