I have the same problem. I can hear the audio when I capture, and there
appears to be audio in the timeline, but when I play the timeline there is
no audio.
I first connected the analod VCR audio and video out to my ATI All-In-Wonder
card (an old one) then on another try moved the audio to line-in on the
sound card, but did not get audio either way. As I said before, I could
hear the audio through the computer speakers during both capture methods.
