This is similar to my previous post. I get the same problem using the
DVC-170...
I've imported analog video into Movie Maker using the Dazzle DVC-170 and the
same basic technique Papa John uses at his site. Everything is fine in the
Contents pane. I can double-click any clip to watch it, and hear it. No
problem with the audio.
But, when I drag a clip to the Storyboard/Timeline, I get no audio when I
play the clip there. The Audio track in the Timeline is a flat blue line, no
waves at all.
I've tied other suggestions from other posts. I've downloaded the K-Lite
codec pack, turned off all filters on the Compatibility tab in Options,
bypassed the DVC-170 for audio by plugging straight from the camera to my
Audio In ports. None of these helped. Anyone here ever experienced that? Is
there a fix?
