No animation

For some reason IE will not show anim. gifs. I have
tweeked every setting I can find, turned off and on my
firewall etc. What gives?
 
1. Something could be interfering with the operation of IE. Did you turn off
your ad-blocker, popup blocker, or anti-virus?

2. Perform a repair of Internet Explorer. From Control Panel select
Add/Remove Programs. Scroll down to Microsoft Internet Explorer and
highlight it. Click on the Add/Remove button. When the IE Tools menu comes
up, select Repair. Click OK.

3. If repairing does not work, uninstall and reinstall IE. At the same IE
Tools menu, select "Restore the previous Windows configuration". Then
reinstall Internet Explore.

You can also access the IE Toolbar by clicking Start > Run and type

rundll32 setupwbv.DLL,IE6Maintenance

This is a fix for getting your browser to show all the blank / red x frames
/ Ads in your display.

This winsock repair fixed all my IE web page display trouble. All my pages
show and display as they should know.
