no administator account

I went added a new user. THought the users was also the
administrator. Turned the existing administrator to
limited use, now cannot change users or add users or do
anything new to computer.

Hi kelly,

I don't know how many user accounts you have set up, but at least one of
those accounts has to be an administrator account. Have you tried logging in
under each user account to see which one is the Administrator?

If all else fails, you could try booting into Safe Mode (keep tapping F8 key
when the computer is starting/restarting, until you get the Advanced Options
menu.....choose Safe Mode from this menu) and logging in under the built-in
Administrator account. See if you can then make the changes that you want to
the user accounts.

have you tried logging on as THE administrator? (In Home boot into Safe
mode, in Pro press Ctl-Alt-Del twice at the welcome screen)
