I recently upgraded Office 2000 to Office 2003 pro. Everything seems ok, with the exception of my address book in Outlook. I got my contacts, but they do not show as the address book! If I click on the To: button, or go to the address book button, there are no address books to choose from. when I try to add the a new address book with the options menu item, I get a message that says "The account you have addes is not fully configured. It migh not work properly until re-configured correctly." I can't get any farther than that. I have removed the outlook portion of Office and reinstalled it, to no avail

Suggestions??

try tools, email accounts, view or change address books - delete the
existing address book and add the service back.

another option is creating a new profile - control panel, mail applet. We
see a lot of problems when users upgrade a profile.

recreating the profile seems to be the trick. There was no address book for me to delete in the other option. Now I have to import my contacts and calendar from the old .pst file

Thanks!

If you recreate a profile, do you lose your .pst file(s), or can you
recreate a profile without losing them?
