no 'address' bar

For some reason I have no address bar. My favorites list
works ok but the web address is not printed out when a
choice is made. I cannot type in a www.anything.com for
example because there is no place to type it. First time I
have used this message board, so have patience please.

on your browser go to view > toolbars > and address bar
click on that and you should have a place to type your
address.
