No access to secure ordering/banking sites

I am running windows XP but cannot purchase anything
online anymore. When I try to access the checkout page or
secure ordering page I receive the message that page
cannot be displayed. Also I cannot use my banking online.
Can anyone help.

The Bank I work at requires 128 Bit encryption in IE.
Open IE->Help->About IE.
That will give you the Cipher Strength and the version
number.
You can download a newer version of IE if needed to get
that Cipher Strength up to 128.
