No access to folder

In a Windows 2000 SBS , log as administrator when try to
open the network and dialup folder (right click on desktop
or control panel ) I got this message " You do not have
permission to open the network and dialup folder".
Please help

I am not familiar with SBS itself but it sounds like a Group Policy
resrtiction. Use Gpedit.msc to open Group Policy and look under user
configuration/administrative templates/network/network connections where you
will see several settings. Group Policy can be configured at various levels
such as local, domain, or Organizational Unit anf you will have to find out
at which level it is confiured and change it. If it does not seem to be
configured at any level, try using disabling the setting that would reverse
the change you are experiencing at the local level. Gpresult may help you
determine where policy is being applied from. --- Steve
