NNTP server

Hi
This is my new pc & on my old one i had microsoft 24hrsupport helpdesk!
Where as that gone? When i check all newsgroups on microsoft via my OE i
can't see it!

Also, Wanadoo say they have suspended their newsgroups & to find their NNTP,
i would have to ask my retailer. Does anyone know of the NNTP or an
alternative i could use to post about everything! from food to depression
etc!

24hoursupport.helpdesk is NOT a Microsoft news group. And yes, Wannado do
NOT give access to newsgroups any more.

I'm in the process of migrating from Wanadoo to Madasafish for this very
reason, their dropping of newsgroups since 17th March.
Meantime I'm using news.cheap56k.com to get my old groups back. You have to
register but it's free. They don't carry binaries but then you can't expect
too much from a free service.

Cheers i'll have a look, can i post a problem on here about my Media player
as when i go to msnews.microsoft.com there's a massive list & would take
ages to check through them all.

Just type in "media" without the quotes and you'll get all the groups there.
there's not /that/ many.......
