Nnidia or ATI ??

Hello out there I have trubble to make up my mind about vga card ATI 9600pro
or FX 5600ultra
What i have understand the 2D quality and (3D) is better in ATI while the FX
is a little bit faster.
Then to my question is what would you out there prefer ?
My sys spec is

XP2500 barton @1833 for now,okey @ 2249mhz 1,69byASUS default
