NMIndexStoreSvr.exe

Since installing a fresh copy of XP I keep getting a request to notify
Microsoft that the NMIndexStoreSvr.exe has encountered a problem and has had
to shut down. How do I stop this?

NMindexer is the Scout searchbar included in Nero. So you didn't just
do a fresh install of Windows XP. You then followed with installs of
your application software, and that included installing Nero. A fresh
install of Windows XP would obviously NOT include Nero.

Right-click on the Scout searchbar to see its options. One of them is
to NOT show that toolbar.

Start Nero, go to toolkit, select Scout, and deselect the option to
integrate it with Windows Explorer.
