Hi all,
I have following config, 3 Advanced servers each having
2 NICs (teamed) using NLB in multicast mode with latest
service packs. We are using Apache Tomcat, which needs to
use multicast to replicate sessions between members. I
can't get any multicast app to work with the above config
(using multicast test -
http://www.mycgiserver.com/~skybuck).
If I disable the NLB, multicast works. The IP's are
virtual-172.26.30.30, a-172.26.30.21, b-172.26.30.22, and
c-172.26.30.23 all with a class c mask.
Is the above config supported when using other multicast
apps? I have read that if you have the above config that
it's best to have the virtual IP and real IPs on different
subnets, or breaking the teaming and changing subnets? Any
help would be appreciated
Regards and thanks,
-Stephen
