nikon camera e3200 coolpick

i am trying to play a movie i shot with my digital camera
i have downloaded to my pc with windows xp home from the camera
i go into my doc. file find the the clip double click on it opens the media
player and the only thing i get is the sound no picture
when i put my cursor over the now playing picture it tells me a codex is
required to play this file
i called nikon and they told me it can only be opened with quick time
is there anything i can do to change this

i want to be able to play and send my files with windows media player not
quicktime all my contacts have windows

please help

Unfortunately, this is not going to happen.
Many digital camera with video options create a video file requiring Quick
Time to play it. You can download Quick Time from here for free:
